Drama and Theatre Studies at UCC has flourished since it was established in 1986. Through its emphasis on practice, performance, experimentation and interdisciplinarity, and its strong commitment to engaging with professional theatre makers and organisations, the teaching programme at DTS provides students with a first class education in theatre and performance.聽At DTS we are extremely proud of our alumni who are thriving on national and international stages and in other theatre and performance related fields.
Our staff are practicing theatre artists and academics committed to the highest standards of excellence in teaching and research. We have close links with the Abbey Theatre, Cork Opera House, Everyman Theatre, Graffiti, Gaitkrash, and Theatre Development Centre (Cork).
