Soprano Róisín O’Grady returns to her alma mater to sing Haydn’s Missa Brevis Sancti Joannis de Deo with the UCC Choir in the ideal setting of the Honan Chapel. Róisín studied music at University College Cork and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Glasgow. She has performed with choral ensembles and orchestras throughout Ireland and Scotland, including the National Chamber Choir of Ireland, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the Irish Baroque Orchestra and the Orchestra of St. Cecilia. She is a member of the early music duo Tonos, and she performs regularly with harpsichordist Malcolm Proud.
